New Nike Training Club App

I decided to get an app from Nike called "Nike Training Club" yesterday. I had no idea this existed until I saw a post @ gleeclub where they posted Nike Training Club App commercial video featuring Lea Michele.

There is no way I will ever have a body like Lea's but the fact she is backing this app and from the video it intrigued me. I went to nike.com and the app looked friggin awesome. And to my happiness it's itouch compatible and best of all the app is FREE!

So I downloaded...OMFG it's pretty It's pretty damn awesome. Nike's app is kick ass it goes well with my Nike iPOD sports kit. This is honestly in my opinion one of the best fitness apps made. Great job Nike.

Best Vegan Cheese Ever

This is the only brand of vegan cheese I use. I mean seriously Galaxy Nutritional foods in my opinion is the best tasting vegan cheese. They have Rice slices and Veggie Slices I use Veggie slices they even make crumbles and shredded versions which I use for pizzas.

I made some great food yesterday...

BREAKFAST: For breakfast I made a Tofu Scramble... Tofu is the best food discovery ever...I love this stuff. I honestly will never go back to a regular egg omelette this to be just taste better.


LUNCH: For lunch we ate Vegan Tomato Bisque with a vegan pepper jack cheese grilled sandwich. I friggin love grilled cheese sandwiches that was the one thing I thought I'd never eat again once I went vegan...but with some vegan cheese hunting I found the right vegan cheese for me to make my grilled cheese sandwiches.

DINNER: I saw this on the net on March 11 for NYC Koi's Steamed Chilean Sea Bass recipe. I thought this would be awesome to make. Just substituted a few ingredients that are available here in Hawaii and I have to say it turned out way better than I thought it would.

DESSERT: My Mom wanted something sweet to finish off the day. She wanted an ice-cold treat so I made her a vegan Avocado Frozen Yogurt. This seems weird but it is so good. In addition, with this basic recipe you can make all types of frozen yogurt flavours.


Coconut Curry Tofu

A friend recomended a coconut based curry which was beyond yummy. This is a creamy coconut milk, spicy curry, and ginger tofu dish! I serve this over brown rice. I couldn't believe how good this thing when I made a few months ago...so tonight I am going to make it again.

Vegan Oreo recipe


The ingredients are pretty simple for this:

The cookies consist of:
1 box of duncan hines dark chocolate fudge cake mix
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp Shortening (Try to find something better than Crisco)

The cream filling consisted of:
3 3/4 c. powered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 c. shortening
3 tbsp hot water

First preheat your oven to 325 degrees

The mix your shortening, cake mix and water in a bowl. Use a power mixer if you have one or just your hands.

The dough should be nice and firm when done with minimal lumps.

 Put Cookies onto Cookie Sheet

Get out your cookies sheet and laydown a piece of wax paper.

Then make small 1/2" balls and press them out onto the cookie sheet

when done, bake for about 10-15 minutes or until cookies are getting crisp,

lastly take out of the oven and let cool, the cookies should get crisp pretty quickly, if they are more gooey, put them back in for another 4 minutes.
